Music ensemble Renfrew Group was founded in 2005 and proudly possesses a lineup with members from Berklee College of Music (Boston, USA) and the Hong Kong Baptist University Music Department, who are "bilinguals" of classical and jazz music. Besides the numerous classical recitals given by individual members, Renfrew Group has also played for audiences at the 1st Hong Kong Jazz Festival, famed jazz bars Blue Door jazz club, the Fringe Club etc. and is still putting in ongoing efforts to contribute its finest music to a wider audience and the local music scene.

In this concert, Renfrew Group will be showcasing its members' talents by performing classical pieces with different soloists and jazz standards with an ensemble setting. Presenting the contrasting notated and improvised styles of music in their authentic forms, this definitely be a concert with something for everybody.

Renfrew Group 樂團於二○○五年成立，成員來自美國 Berklee College of Music 和香港浸會大學音樂系兩所著名音樂學府 ，精通古典音樂及爵士樂。各成員除獨奏古典樂經驗豐富外 ，自成立以來 Renfrew Group 作為爵士樂隊亦一直非常活躍，曾於第一屆香港爵士樂節 、 Blue Door 酒吧、藝穗會等知名爵士樂表演場地演出，至今仍經常獲邀演出。

這次來一場反璞歸真的演奏會，獨奏古典樂，合奏爵士樂 ，不玩 crossover ，而是以最純粹的風格獻上兩種南轅北轍的音樂。一場雅俗共賞的音樂會，不容錯過！
