KaHo graduated from the Hong Kong Baptist University majoring in composition and music production and flute. Kaho started to learn flute at the age of 13. By the year 2006, he obtained the ATCL Certificate from the Trinity College of Music (London) with Distinction. Besides pursuing his classical studies, he also joined the HKBU Jazz Ensemble in 2005 coached by Patrick Lui at the time. He participated in recording the debut CD of the ensemble, "Our Set of Standards" in 2005. Kaho also became the HKBU Jazz Ensemble leader in 2006. He gives performance actively in HKBU and public. Kaho is infatuated with jazz music and has studied with Gee Zhang, Ted Lo and Tony Carpio.
